A Spooky Story
It was a dark, rainy night in October. I had been to my friend Jane’s house and studied for a test. Now I was walking home. I didn’t like it at all. I had always been afraid of the dark, and on a night like this, I could easily imagine that all kinds of scary things were lurking in the darkness around me. I shivered, afraid of my own thoughts, and I hurried towards my home. To get there, I had to pass an ancient, abandoned castle lying on the top of the highest hill in our town. The castle was surrounded by a dark park with old oak trees. Their branches looked like long arms with bony fingers that stretched out to grab me. I tried to look straight forward, and ignore the uncanny darkness of the park, but as I passed the gate to the park I couldn’t help myself from glancing up towards the castle. There was a light in one of the windows. Somebody was up there. Nobody dared to go there. But now, someone actually was there. I stopped in front of the gate, unable to move my legs. There was a sound coming from the castle, a whining sound. It sounded almost like someone was strangling a cat! Even though I was so afraid that I felt like dying, I knew I had to go to the castle to see what was going on. So I took a trembling step forward, went through the gate and into the darkness...

A end for the story...
ResponderEliminarWhen I enter in the castle, it was dark. I walk for some minutes, and finally I found the room lightened. I open the door and... I saw some ghosts dancing with music and eating sandwiches! I ask then and they told me they was doing a halloween party! I catch my mibile and call my friends. In some minutes they were here, and all of us enjoy the party!!!
Nice end, Javi, but poor ghosts. they must have been afraid of your horrible English!!!!. No past tenses. Did they understand you?????
