  3. Hi!
I'm Daniel Rebollo Avila from 4thD ESO
I have read this text and I liked it.
In Spain the Christmas is celebrated differently. We celebrate Christmas on 25 of December, we started on 24 December to 6 January. All people, especially children, look forward to arrive since 1 December. We celebrate Christmas Eve with a family dinner and singing carols. Most Catholics on Christmas Day go to church.
    Bye :)

  4. Hello Julia!! I'm Carmen Raposo from 1º BTO B.
In my opinion, Christmas in the United Kingdom is very similar to Christmas in Spain. On these dates, religious people celebrate the birth of Jesus.
In Spain, most families put the tree the 10th December, since this day coincides with the day of the Immaculate. We don't usually eat turkey in Christmas Dinner, but it's true that we eat some special food.
I would like Christmas crackers to were used here too, because I think that they are a fun idea for kids.
    Merry Christmas Julia (:

  7. Hello Julia, I´m Ana Prieto from 1ºBTO D.
In my opinion, Christmas in the United Kingdom is similiar to Christmas here, in Spain.
There´s only two differences: Christmas Dinner and Christmas cracker.
    - Christmas Dinner because the people in Spain don´t used to dinner a turkey; we have dinner seafood or other kind of food.
    - Christmas cracker doesn´t exist in Spain, but I think that is a very original type of gift.
Also, Spanish people eat twelve grapes to celebrate the New Year.

    See you tomorrow!
    Ana.

  11. Hello! I´m Elena Peláez from 3rd ESO E.
In my opinion, their Christmas holidays are similar to Christmas in Spain. We also put the Christmas Tree, and we put the presents under the tree. Our tradiction Christmas Dinner is important and we celebrate also, with the family. And there is another important Chrismas Dinner. Once is the 25th of December, the "Good Night Dinner" and the other is at the end of the year. And a tradition in Spain is that, we eat twelve grapes in the last twelve minutes of the year. In Spain, there aren´t the christmas cracker, but I think that is a good idea for kinds.
    Bye bye! ;)

I reckon Christmas in UK is more or less the same in Roumania. In Roumania, the 24th December, the children go from house to house singing carols, and people gives them sweets, money, etc... and at night come Santa Claus and leave the presents under the tree. If I remember clearly, the old people go to the church, too.
In Roumania we also have a special Christmas dinner on 25th December,it's delicious.
    I miss Roumanian Christmas!

  27. Hello Maria Jose. I'm Alejandro Gálvez of 1 ESO.
Christmas in Spain is similar to Christmas in the UK. I see a difference from Spain and Spain is that dinner is celebrated on December 24 instead of December 25 as they do in the UK.
On the other hand in Spain do not usually eat turkey tonight and especially in Andalusia is not usual to eat this type of meat but others such as pork or chicken. It is also often eat at that night different types of seafood.
In Spain, gifts are usually deliver Epiphany celebrated on January 6, although for some time, some people give these gifts on Christmas Day.
Although Christmas Day is important in Spain, I think New Year's Eve is more important because it celebrates the entry of a new year.

    Merry Christmas to all!!

Chrismats in the United Kindong seems very coolonit like here in Spain. In England not put lights on the streets? In Spain there are lights on the streets but this year my town only put lighs in the square of inmaculada and inside church.

In my country we also have traditional foods, for example “mantecados” y “Roncón de Reyes”. The mantecados and Roscón de Reyes are sweets. The Roscón de Reyes is inside has a small toy.

Here also we celebrite the mass of turkey.

We deliver the presents on the 6th of January and not December 25th.

    Oliver Merry Christmast.
