ResponderEliminarI love to know the ideology of philosophers and Epicuro is one of my favourite ones. He tells us that all that matters is to be happy and spend the time doing what we like and I agree with him, but we have many resposibilities too, and sometimes is hard to be happy with so much stress and preassure, but I think that's how life works: to deal with all the negatives and positives parts of life.
Epicuro defended that you have to follow all the things that make you feel good and avoid the pain. Personally, I think that it would be great but it's impossible to do. You can have a rainbow without a little rain ;)

ResponderEliminarWe have already seen this video in philosophy class with Ricardo. I really think almost like Epicurus and that the richness does not give true happiness, but rather live free. I like to be in touch with nature, that makes me really happy.

We've studied this philosopher this year and I think what he says really makes sense since we should all try to achieve happiness, although I reckon we must keep in mind we are all part of a society and we have to do some things we might not like because of that but it's our duty.

I am Lorena Bejarano from 2 BTO B and one week ago we were studying this autor, about this person, I agree with somethings he says, you have to do in this life that make us happy, but fortunately or unfortunately we must do what this morally and ethically correct. but I do not think so because we only live once.

ResponderEliminarI saw this video before in Phylosophy class and I like it because I think that Epicure was a great philosopher because he thought that the happiness is the most important value and he said that we have to do things for make us happy without money or material things!!

In conclusion, everybody should think like Epicuro and we should enjoy, too.

ResponderEliminarI've studied Epicuro this year, I think he's one of the most clever and modern philosopher, he said that we have to live the life! We have to take advantage of the pleasures that this life gives us. No one knows what is after death so, we don't have to think about it, just live the life and live the moment, because this live is not as bad as we usually think!!!

I really like this video, that, by the way, we've already watched it in philosophy class and I'm very glad about it, because sometimes I feel tired with these important people, they all think life is sad or bad, and Epicuro, although is a little radical, he believes in happiness! ResponderEliminarIn my opinion we usually misunderstand the happiness and pleasure Epicuro's theory; But this theory means that Epicurus distinguished between three pleasures : natural and necessary as thirst , feeding ... Natural and unnecessary pleasures like sexual pleasure or pleasant conversation and unnatural and unnecessary pleasures like fame and power
